Sort Lines
Sort lines alphabetically, numerically or in reverse order with one click
Free · Instant · Private — runs in your browser
How the Sort Lines works
The Sort Lines tool takes a block of text and reorders its lines according to the mode you choose. Alphabetical sort arranges them from A to Z, numerical sort orders lines that begin with numbers by their value, and reverse sort flips the current order. It is ideal for organising lists, directories, exports, and any text where the line order has got jumbled.
Sorting happens instantly in your browser, so your data never leaves your device. For the tidiest results, run your text through the Text Cleaner first, remove any repeats with Remove Duplicate Lines, then sort — or convert the finished list with Text to List.
