Find & Replace

Find and replace text with regex support and case-sensitive matching

Free · Instant · Private — runs in your browser

How the Find & Replace works

The Find & Replace tool searches your text for a target string and swaps every match for replacement text. Turn on case-sensitive matching when “Apple” and “apple” should be treated differently, or enable regular expressions to match patterns — for example “d+” to find every number, or “cat” to match the whole word “cat” without catching “category”.

Every search and substitution is performed in your browser, so your text stays private. It pairs naturally with the Text Cleaner for normalising spacing before a bulk replace, and with the Case Converter for fixing capitalisation once the replacements are done.
